Shane Garrett, founder and owner of Garrett Painting LLC, shared his knowledge about how to maintain a healthy work-life balance in an article of American Painting Contractor Magazine. The article – titled “It’s Just Paint…and when that’s the right perspective” by Scott Burt – can be read here (see pages 18-19 for Shane’s take).
In the article, Shane talks about the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle and the value of personal time. He says a combination of diet, exercise, weekends with his family, and yearly travel make him a better leader, which keeps his business running smoother.
“Technology in the trades is a huge part of achieving work-life balance — and it is severely lacking in many trade businesses,” says Shane.
Networking with other great companies helped Shane learn how to harness technology to improve customer experience and the quality of free time.
