As we head towards Fall and back to school, many of us will be helping to put on kids shoes and outerwear appropriate for rain, mud and eventually snow. Most have a room, located near the outside door, affectionally called the mudroom. This room gets the hardest wear and tear for kids and adults want nothing but a quick exit from the house. Always a few minutes behind schedule, the rush takes its toll on the mudroom walls like no other place in the house. With high use and abuse in mind, Benjamin Moore created a wonderful new paint product called Scuff-X. Scuff-X takes all the abuse and shows none of the tell-tale marks.
In a recent test as seen on YouTube, the people at Benjamin Moore abused two surfaces one painted with Scuff-X and the other with normal trim paint. The results were remarkable. The Scuff-X surface looks as fresh as the day it was painted while the normal painted surface shows obvious marks and scrapes.
