Shane Garrett, founder and owner of Garrett Painting LLC, shared his insight and experience in owning a mid-Missouri residential and commercial painting business in the Sept/Oct 2020 issue of inPaint Magazine. The article – “5 Good Questions with Shane Garrett” – can be read here (see page 14 for Shane’s take).
In the article, Shane answers to questions such as “In the last five years, what new belief, behavior or habit has most improved your life?” and “What changes have you made to your business in response to COVID-19?”
When asked, “What do you consider the most important aspect of the hiring process?” Shane responds, “The interview itself. This is where we get a chance to see if the prospect is a culture fit, but more importantly, we are able to ‘sell’ our culture and values to the potential new hire.”
