On April 27, 2024, Garrett Painting participated in Float Your Boat, an annual cardboard boat race fundraiser to support The Food Bank for Central & Northeast Missouri. Teams raced one-of-a-kind boats across the Bass Pro Shops Lake in Columbia while hundreds of attendees cheered them on. Proceeds from the event will help feed neighbors in the food bank’s 32-acre service area. Due to the food bank’s bulk purchasing power, a $25 donation can help provide at least 100 meals to those in need.
