A message from Shane: I want to show off our latest commercial painting project! Our team just completed a project at Marathon Building Environments on Paris Road in Columbia, Missouri, where we painted 19,000 ft.² of concrete in 10 days with 105 gallons of high-performance Sherwin-Williams Sher-Cryl acrylic coatings. We had three different colors to apply with six stripes on each side of the building, and the results are beautiful. We used premium products, so the colors will pop for many years to come.
I want to give a big shout-out to our partners on this project — Katie Laxson and EquipmentShare for coordinating our lift, Matt Gravitt and Sherwin-Williams for facilitating all of the products and Columbia Outdoor Restoration for going the extra mile to clean the building and remove all of the oxidation so we could get a good bond.
I want to give the biggest shout-out to my crew — these guys are total rock stars! A lot more goes into a project like this than you may realize. We do these jobs with as little interruption to the client’s business as possible. Parking, deliveries, rain and sun all have to be worked around. Yes, even the sun is a factor, especially on a concrete building where the surface temperatures can get extremely hot even when it’s only in the 80s.
